When I saw the tester call for the Top Knot Romper, Dress & Tunic from Chalk and NotchI knew I had to apply right away. And I was really excited to be selected for testing!

Since Isabella loves dresses and really needs loves to run and climb as well, I thought this time it would be great to make her a tunic. I chose a soft woven Soft Cactus fabric, the Whoopsy daisy. It’s one of my favorite brands. It’s soft, doesn’t fade after time and I love their designs.

And the Top Knot Tour is about showing off a little, right? So, Gabriela came up with some themes and I thought it would be great to do sister style. Oops, problem here, Isabella has no sisters…. But she has two great friends, Isa and Nele. They have been friends ever since they were 3 months old, well, at that time they went to daycare together. They are so cute together!! I thought it would be a good idea the girls could choose their fabric (with a little help from their mothers, of course!). For Nele I made the Top Knot Dress, using another Soft Cactus Fabric, Seashore Shelly. A lovely yellow green design. And Isa, well she decided to choose complete summer ! It has such cute flowers and butterflies on it, don’t you just love it? I added a little dark blue on it, using again some Soft Cactus, Rhytm in the rain.

We went to a farm nearby to take pictures, and the girls loved their Top Knots, as you can see. They just couldn’t stop playing, twirling and discovering the chickens J. We really had a great time over there. I am sure all three will be wearing the dresses as much as they can (sorry mommy’s, it takes some ironing… 😉 ).
